Are you a start-up with investment, or a small business that has started to grow? We can help.

If you run a start-up business or if you are a small business that has started to grow, you will need to agree on a number of things with your co-founders, such as how the business is split between you, who is responsible for what and how much directors and employees should be paid (and on what terms)

You will also need the following:

  • service agreements for directors

  • employment contracts for employees

  • a shareholder agreement

  • a company handbook (including policies your staff are legallly required to have access to from day one)

  • a privacy notice for all job applicants and employees explaining how their personal data will be used and stored (together with agreed internal procedures for handling personal data)

  • employers liability insurance

  • pension arrangements for all staff who are entitled to automatically enrol into a pension arrangement offered through you (which will be most of them)

We can help you get started - we will offer advice on what you need to cover off the employment law basics and draft the corresponding documents, all at a sensible price and, where possible, at a fixed price. We understand start-ups have a limited budget and we can help.
